I set my brush strokes to be really smooth. Other than that, a lot of trial and error, plus some patience.

woah, and canvas paining is quite hard aswell!

Surprisingly it was easy for me. All I did was draw out what I wanted and did layer painting. Using a swirl of colours to give it some distinction. I got more canvases so stay tuned.
