How to tell if that drawing the weeb at the back of the class drew is either a base or hentai:
If not then it's a base.
This scenario has never happened to me before, but I know artists get annoyed when people don't understand that artists don't draw like printers.
Bases don't have uhhh.... details, because it's drawn to get the posing and the atonomy correct.
Hope this helped.

I am sick of this! I am sick of seeing this awful 'vegetables' in the shops! I have tried twice to voice my opinion but got banned from the forums for 3 days for "reposting at shitpost about radishes." I hate these 'vegetables' and they are a disgrace to Satan. There is no reason for radishes to be as popular as they are; there just isn't!

Ever since lockdown struck back in March 2020, I have been relying on the internet wayyyy more than i should, and one of these is entertainment. Here's just a very detailed list of every fandom/community I have been active in. (Not including ones before 2020 which was before I had my phone and was mainly me looking over my brother's shoulder as he watched Sonic and Baldi scream at each other in some crappy YouTube video.
I still watch gacha stuff on yt, I just don't post mini movies anymore (thank god.)
I knew what Gacha Life was back when i was 11 in 2019 but it wasn't until March 2020 when i discovered people made stories using multiple screenshots. The line of Gacha games are quite controversial because of the jackasses who post weird crap and bully other users but tbh like 90% of the community is chill. Although I do remember the storylines of the GLMMs were getting kinda repetitive and it was bugging me slightly. One Gachatuber who was really creative and used custom backgrounds and text boxes (which back then really stood out as high quality) was Lily Trescot MSP. She was actually the most subscribed Gachatuber for about 2 years.
The reason I left was the increasing fear of stumbling to the 'dark side,' which was where all the Redditors got their content for r/gachalifecringe. I have never stumbled across heat but that thought terrified me, so I left at around May. Surprisingly I never came across any animation memes then.
Well technically, I have been playing ever since, I downloaded gacha club 'round the time it came out on my laptop but was mainly offline.
I had a phase where I would look at random error messages/screens across diffrent OSs, which ended up teaching me a lot about the history of Windows. So there was this one channel called 'Windows POSready 2009' or something like that, they deleted their channel a while back saying they were returning in 2021, but still sadly no return (that i know of.) This was created back when Windows 7 went out of support in January 2020 and everybody was sad, because Gen-Z loves it's nostalgia, so a lot of these kinds of videos were popping up; but this one was by far the best.
The storyline is along the lines of:
Yeaaaa, the storyline made no sense as it went along, but it was genuinely fun to watch and I swear to god if you see this bring back the series (and that MAP thingy that never finished pls).
That series inspired me to make human OCs to all the main Windows OSs with my plan of reanimating some of the scenes, but I procrastinated and now I'm stuck here with some adequate looking OCs.
Honestly, once you join this fandom, you can't leave. It always comes crawling back no matter how hard you try to leave it alone.
This beautiful curse was put on me about the same time all that Windows stuff was going on, I had just transitioned to my little dinky laptop and I needed background music for a video I was making, and some nightcore remix of Ivan Polka showed up in my YT recommended; so i used it for a good 6 months. I guess YouTube was reading my mind again, and that triggered something, because I got a bunch of other stuff about Hatsune Miku, the 'singer' of the song. I knew who she was from Just Dance, but didn't know what she was exactly.
Shortly after I got stuff relating to Project Diva, a rhythm game made up of a bunch of songs made by the fandom. So I thought "Ohhhh she's a video game character!" I didn't even noticed how robotic her voice sounded, I thought she had a crappy mic or something. Some time later I found a video explaining who Miku was and turns out she's a Vocaloid.
Basically, Vocaloid is a software where you chuck some voice clips together to form lyrics and boom: you have a song. There's also UTAU which is a free version and is popular due to the ability to create a custom voicebank (and also rip audio clips off other characters/celebrities....) and there's a whole fandom of musicians creating J-Pop music (most Vocaloids speak Japanese, but a lot also have English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Catalan aswell)
Then there's also MMD (Miku Miku Dance) which is a free 3D animation software used by beginners to animate music videos which has a whole community in itself. I used to be obsessed with watching these (aswell as talkloids, which are sorta like MMD videos, but satire and have the budget of sock puppets.) I downloaded the software aswell as the PMX editor to make custom models, but 3D animation isn't really for me.
I was really active in this community: I made my own UTAUloid who has multiple voicebanks on my old website (https://utauloid-lacklie-rosa.jimdosite.com,) made a custom song (god it was crapppp,) had some headcannons and lore to characters that really don't need it, started a fangroup with my friend on Whats App which lasted 3 days, drew so many freaking characters in my little notebook during class, the list goes on.
It's October 2020, imagine a dark little room with a candle, the candle is slowly starting to get blown out by the community already kinda dying, and you see a figure in the background. Then Undertale comes out with a flamethrower and sets the room on fire!
I had a vague idea on what Undertale was back in 2016 thanks to countless memes, but never really knew what the storyline was. To show you how lacking in knowledge I was, here's a comment I posted a while back on one of my friends videos:
My friends and their friends used to do this roleplaying thing where they would refer each other as diffrent Sans AUs (I didn't get one as I was clueless.) Honestly do you know how hard it is to follow a conversation when they're all referring to each other as Ink, Error, Dream and Nightmare!? I got fed up not being able to understand what they were saying so I said out loud:
"Alright. Once I get home tonight I will search up Undertale and click the first lets play."
Not even half an hour in I was already addicted.
There's a point in my first notebook where the drawings go from random characters and Vocaloid to solely Undertale. I loved this freaking game despite never even playing it! After, I looked up Underverse and watched it while drawing. Although to properly understand Underverse, you need to be watching veryyyy carefully, have a notebook and pen in hand and have an unhealthy amount of knowledge about Undertale AUs. 3 things I did not do. To this day I don't know much about all the AUs of AUs, all the hidden details, that stuff because the fandom has made up so many theories and lore to a game that came out 6 and a half years ago.
Deltarune I did watch chapter 1 but wasn't as interested (the game was still a demo and it was mainly used for satire posts) I still like Ralsei's chapter 1 design better than his chapter 2 design. My favourite AU is Glitchtale which I waited about 10 months for the finale and it was so worth it)
Also at this point I discovered animation memes so there was a lot of that getting injected to my veins, (aswell as rediscovering gacha after seeing so many gacha undertale stuff.) I still like Undertale a lot, I think Toby Fox is a genuis when it comes to game development, and with the hype around chapter 2 releasing 6 months ago; this fandom will probably never die.
I was 4 years late joining this but that's what I do best; joining fandoms/communities right when they're dying or dead. I watched Jacksepticeye's playthrough of this aswell as playing it myself and oh god it's so much creepier when you play it yourself, even if you already know what's going to happen.
I knew a vague amount about this game thanks to random videos I kept getting in my YT recommended around May 2021 and thought it was worth a try. I've drawn some fanart and made 2 animation memes off of it but I'm not active in it's fandom anymore (no new stuff.)
Around the same time, I kept getting Afton family animation memes in my recommended and I wanted to know the context behind them. I knew bit about FNAF due to my brothers being obsessed with random parody crap of it back in 2019 but didn't like it then due to it being so 'silly.' This also taught me that Markipier makes more interesting lets plays than Jacksepticeye.
I love FNAF. It's a well built game, got an unique storyline and knows how to cater to theorists. Literally most of the lore is just random puzzle pieces of secrets and stuff, morphed together by game theory. I have watched a timeline video twice and still can't explain the lore in a way that seems logical. FNAF 6 is the best out of them all and I wish my laptop wasn't such a potato so I could play it. Just how it rounds off the story so well (well technically UCM is the 'finale';) and Security breach had some good ideas, but seems like it's stretching the franchise like mozzarella cheese. I would prefer is UCM was the ending to the lore as it makes the most sense (seriously, how many times is the Purple Guy going to keep dying?)
I haven't done much in the fandom tbh, I'm still in it, I'll probably stay in it for a long time, but I haven't done much exept redraw the FNAF 1 animatronics as these half humans where they're still robots but they look more like humans than brightly coloured animals.
A random commentary video by Saberspark brought me here, aswell as my curiosity.
Some old webtoon from the 2000's of badly animated animals getting murdered and tortured in many ways. Back then humour was a lot more darker (*cough cough* Newgrounds *cough cough*) so the kinds of people watching this were edgelords from 2008, traumatised young children and psychopaths like me who laugh while watching and watch in the modern day (except that 'tounge in cheek' episode, the whole fandom agrees that went a bit too far.)
The reason why I stuck around was because people had made animation memes and they were cool. I made one at one point and there's a really noticeable animation error in it which bugs me to this day. Like literally a couple of hours ago I found out there was TikTok edits of HTF.
If you like gore then go watch it on Mondo's official website because YouTube's age restricted a bunch of episodes.
I saw this in yet another commentary video about 4 months ago talking about something idk, and it mentioned these 2 shows. I like Helluva Boss more than Hasbin Hotel solely because the plot is better. They're both a web series on YouTube and why the hell is the Fanale of Helluva boss come out it's been 6 months, there are like 4 subplots that need answering and it's really pissing me off why it hasn't been answered yet.
Again mostly TikTok edits and random drawings in my notebook.
I forgot to add this the first time I typed it up.
Around the hype of AvM ep 25 coming out, I properly discovered this franchise. You'll be surprised on how emotional and well written a show about stick figures can be. And people have made animation memes to this (including me) but there's only really 2 main plot things.
I started binge watching the show about 3-4 weeks ago and I'm currently on Season 10. I heard about this by a video on 'The most insane cartoon deaths' and South Park was mentioned twice so ever since it's been in the back of my head. I forgot about it mostly until there was a school assembly about asking questions about literally anything and someone asked who the teacher's favourite South Park character was. I decided to watch it to see if it was really worth all it's attention.
So basically, South Park is an animated sitcom about 4 kids, Stan, Kyle, Eric Cartman and Kenny, who do stuff. They do stuff for 24 minuets and they somehow managed to make 25 seasons of it and it's still going. It's been going since 1997 and somehow is staying original. I don't know how but the writers back in Comedy Central must be geniuses. The show is great, the humour is actually funny (probably be more funny if I was from America in the year the episodes are set in,) it's original, it can get very dark (*cough cough* season 5 episode 1) and I really like the show.
My nitpicks are:
But I have nitpicks with literally everything soo.
I know nothing about the later seasons, apart from the fact that at some point they explain why Kenny keeps dying (originally once per episode in seasons 1-5 and once per season in seasons 7-10) but I don't know what season all I'm hoping for is that it works with my theory.
Also Kenny voice sounds so weird when it's not all muffled; I was curious what he would sound like if you could clearly hear him (he wears a big orange coat which muffles his speech) and I didn't realise who he was in season 8 episode 7 (because he was wearing a masquerade mask instead of his orange coat and was speaking clearly) until he was flung into the ceiling and Stan and Kyle said their whole 'oh my god you killed kenny' thing they do every time. I also noticed him in the background in the baseball episode.
My notebook is currently getting consumed with random drawings of characters and frame redraws and I'm reanimating the chili scene from season 5 episode 1 because it's pure gold.
wait why is this paragraph the longest??
I have probably missed some off but I don't feel like reading this through, it took 3 and a half hours to type and I want to watch South Park now.

I'm not that good at it yet, but I'm at the stage I can piece together my own amalgamation of a sentence.
テーブルはアメリカ時ですか?
Is this table American?
Taburu ha Amerikajin desu ka?
いいえ、私は魚で割りません。
No, I'm not a fish.
Iie, watashiha sakana dewarimasen.
私は人食べるます。
I eat people.
Watashiwa hito tabemasu.
人食べるますか?
Do you eat people?
hito tabemasuka.
I'm using my 'skills' to good use.

A couple of days ago I cam across this homophobic gachatuber and I posted a hate comment and they got all mad. A video popped into my recommended today of the same person who said they tried out drawing and they fricking traced my art.
They probably got annoyed at me and ended up on my Newgrounds page as it's all drawings I uploaded onto my user page. The video is here btw.
Can somebody do something to stop them it's irritating me.

I've only used this website consistently for about 6 months and already I have managed to accidentally end up on the pornography side god kill me.
I put this story on the forum page but I'm putting it again.
It was announced recently that filters are now going to apply in user pages. Reminds me of a time about 2 months ago, where I found a user who made wholesome E rated movies and was curious to see if they did any art. I clicked onto the page and for a split second I saw 15 images of furry boobies (full in view btw) before frantically clicking off. I have tried so hard to get that image out of my head but it must be super glued or something.
A couple of days before that, I was looking at the art portal. Nothing too bad there, I always keep the A rating filter off, but when I want to find pictures of gore i put the M rating filter on so I can find the cool bloody ones you don't find as much in the T rating. So I was scrolling through and clicked on a drawing and I was met with some anime girl's butt. Whenever I look through the art portal now, I look very carefully so the same thing doesn't happen again (there wasn't even any blood in it :( ).
